Tefal Resist Intense 22cm Stewpot with Glass Lid

The Tefal Resist Intense 22 cm Stewpot (D5224582 / D5224583) is engineered to endure challenging cooking conditions while delivering tender, slow-simmered culinary results. Sized with a versatile 22 cm diameter and an approximate 1.8-liter capacity, this deep casserole pot is ideal for crafting rich family meals—such as chicken Provençal, braised lamb tagines, seafood stews, saffron rice pilafs, and coconut curries.

Built specifically to withstand the harsh conditions of gas cooktops, the exterior features Tefal’s advanced FlameProtect technology. This silicone-reinforced outer layer protects the cookware from open gas burner flames, keeping the pot free from burn marks, carbon stains, and heat discoloration over years of intensive use. Inside, it is fortified with a Titanium non-stick coating that guarantees smooth food release without sticking, allowing for healthier low-oil cooking and quick post-meal cleanups.

Culinary precision is guided by the central Thermo-Signal™ zone, which turns completely solid red once the pot reaches ideal cooking temperature, ensuring ingredients are seared and browned at the perfect moment to seal in natural juices. The stewpot features sturdy ergonomic side handles for a confident two-handed grip, a matching vented lid to control steam and monitor cooking progress, even heat conduction across its aluminum body, and full compatibility across Gas, Electric, Ceramic, and Halogen stovetops as well as being oven and dishwasher safe.
