Versatile multi-function pastry robot
The KitchenAid stand mixer was the first model to feature “planetary motion.” But what does that mean? It means that its shaft rotates in one direction, while the attachment rotates in the other, for even mixing. The beater rotates with at least 59 points of contact distributed throughout the bowl, so all the ingredients are perfectly mixed.
Our Color of the Year stand mixer comes with a host of accessories, so you’re ready to create all sorts of creative menus at home. The stand mixer has horizontal bars for cutting in butter, but can also be used as a regular mixer for mixing and grinding ingredients. You can also replace it with the included whisk for aeration, the dough hook for kneading, or the flexible edge beater for stickier preparations. It comes with a spatula for easy cleaning of the stand mixer.
All you have to do is choose your attachment and select the speed: speed 1 for gentle mixing, speeds 2 to 6 for beating and whipping, and speed 10 for rapid whipping. You can have whipped cream in less than 60 seconds(2). Impressive, right?
