Xiaomi Router AX1500

The Xiaomi Router AX1500 delivers high-speed, stable home networking powered by Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology. Engineered for smooth 4K streaming, online learning, and gaming, it achieves combined dual-band concurrent wireless speeds of up to 1501 Mbps (up to 1201 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band).

Designed with smart dual-band integration, the AX1500 unifies the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands under a single network name, automatically shifting connected devices to the optimal frequency based on distance and wall penetration. Equipped with 4 external high-gain antennas and OFDMA multi-device transmission, the router efficiently communicates with multiple endpoints simultaneously, drastically minimizing network buffer and packet drop.

Wired setup is completely streamlined via 4 self-adaptive gigabit ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps) with Auto MDI/MDIX. Users can plug the incoming broadband cable into any port without differentiating between WAN and LAN. The router also natively supports IPTV multi-line multiplexing, allowing direct integration with TV set-top boxes. Two dedicated front-facing LED indicators provide at-a-glance status checks for both system health and active internet connection.

For larger properties, the AX1500 incorporates Xiaomi’s self-developed Mesh technology, supporting hybrid wired and wireless networking with up to 10 compatible Xiaomi routers for millisecond-level roaming. Users running Xiaomi or Redmi smartphones benefit from exclusive game acceleration, which automatically identifies game traffic to lower ping and jitter. Network configuration and parental controls are handled easily via the Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app or web browser interface, backed by MiWiFi ROM, WPA3-SAE encryption, and IPv6 support.
